Luke & Lauren

Luke Storey LUKE STOREY

Luke Storey founded The School of Style in 2008. He wanted to answer the question that he had been asked so many times before: “How did you become a wardrobe stylist?” That question sparked the idea to start the world’s first school specifically for wardrobe stylists.

While Luke has always had an eye for fashion, he never actually sought out to become a wardrobe stylist. He spent much of his life playing music in bands, which ultimately led him to his distinctive “rock and roll” style that he is best known for today. Luke’s fellow band mates frequently called upon him for his keen eye for style. Soon his career shifted out of music and into fashion.

Luke Storey is regularly sought after by an impressive list of musicians including Marilyn Manson, Foo Fighters, Sarah Maclahan, Daughtry, Rilo Kiley, Kanye West, No Doubt, American Idol’s Kris Allen, TV On The Radio, and many others.

Luke has also worked a variety of actors and actresses including; Kim Kardashian,
Jayma Mays from the cast of Glee, Kristin Ritter, Kat von D, and Steve O from the
hit MTV show Jackass.

Luke has spent time in front of the camera as well. He has appeared on the hit
reality show The Hills, VH1′s America’s Most Smartest Model, and VH1’s Glam God.

Luke Storey is represented by ArtMix Beauty and is based in Los Angeles.

Lauren Messiah LAUREN MESSIAH

Lauren Messiah joined School Of Style in 2009 after attending one of School Of
Style’s classes. Lauren knew that her experience in fashion and social media would be an asset to the growing business.

From an early age Lauren was determined to work in fashion and did everything in her
power to make that dream a reality. In 2003, she received her B.A from Virginia
Commonwealth University with a major in Fashion Design. Lauren went on to work for Nordstrom and Betsey Johnson before shifting gears into the online arena.

Lauren took her fashion know-how online and created the heavily trafficked and regularly sourced blog, Ask Fashion Kitty. Lauren became the “it” online stylist for young women across the world. In 2007, Lauren became the fashion editor at ThisNext.com and a contributor for AOL’s StyleList.com.

In 2009 Lauren took her styling skills offline and into the real world by leaving
her 9-5 for a career as a freelance stylist. Lauren is currently a trained and
certified personal stylist and is represented by Stacy London’s (from TLC’s What Not
to Wear) Style For Hire agency.
