“and this is how you operate a safety pin……”

“and this is where you order your coffee. you will need it”
“no laughing class! this is supposed to be serious! it’s fashion, for god’s sake”. not.
these two kept shooting spit balls at the teacher , so we had to make them sit on the couch.

we had a rainout on this epic Day Two shopping day. they had to lock us out of kimmie’s store show pony in echo park, as i kept trying to shove jewelry in the girl’s purses. no. not really.

this was one of the last dying days of my( almost )famous steven segal pony tail. it was good while it lasted, but not so good in the rain. thanks girls! it was a great day. ya’ll were hardcore for weathering the storm:)

when student Houri set out for a life of fashion she never imagined it would amount to picking out the correct color sports bra!

Elise and Houri working up a sweat on the sidelines. um, can we maybe do a little work here girls? wtf?!

this is how Elise tries to avoid blow drying the pit stains out of the male talent’s shirts between takes.

and she also tries this trick sometimes too. (she spends way too much time drooling over pics of her bf harley) but luckily i get to pull rank and bust a jihad on her mac. then i have to call her back to ask her how to right click with no clicker. how the fuck do all of you “cool” people use macs anyway? they are so annoying.

dude, i’m sorry but i have to say- i am an amazing self photographer. is it possible to have a crush on yourself? i might need meds.

I AM LOST

Luke and the superstar team of Elise Velasco and Ann Jesse joined forces to do this epic, lo-fi video for former GRANDADDY singer Jason Lytle. Making a return to his world the world of music and picture making, The Team and Jason teamed up with General Assembly to produce a music video for his single, “I am Lost”. The original inspiration for the video came from photographer STEVEN SHORE who is known for “deadpan images of banal scenes and objects in the united states.” Thanks to Drew at Levi’s and a few other showrooms, we were able to dress a cast of 10 with a $300.00 budget.
(Stay tuned for video)

TEMPERLEY LONDON
If you live in London, you know Alice Temperley as the legendary party hostess whose signature jersey dresses dot every British It Girl in sight. If you live in America, you know Alice Temperley as the really pretty, really expensive designer whose fancy frocks mercifully hit Target last year. And after viewing her price tags, and settle over your sticker shock you somehow wish this recession was close to ending. Needless to say, the genius of Alice Temperley blew minds once again during New York’s Fall 09RTW Fashion Week. Coming down the runway, were tunics with jeweled necklines, high-waisted genie pants, and intarsia sweater dresses trimmed in colorful pompoms, as well as towering ponyskin fezzes. If that verged on overload, sharp military tailoring, gold-studded leather jackets and coats, and figure-forming stretch dresses won points for adding a sexier edge to this designer’s formula. That continued into evening via gold military cording on crepe de chine. All in all, this was a leaner, meaner Temperley—leaving you with that child like sensation. I WANT, I WANT, I WANT…
