The Cerre Fall/Winter 2009 collection is now available exclusively at the Cerre flagship store in Hollywood (1647 N. Las Palmas Ave, Hollywood, CA 90028). The Cerre website has been updated with 2 new short films based on the FW09 collection, and they are totally worth checking out. Also, new vintage pieces arrive weekly and can be viewed on their blog.

Take a look at a recent School of Style graduate’s blog, Red Sole Diary. Red Sole Diary is “for those who love fashion and everything fabulous.” I mean, who doesn’t love fashion and fabulous things? We certainly consider ourselves fans. We are also fans of her post about her experience at the School of Style. Call us biased if you want but, its a pretty impressive post :)

So we finally stopped working long enough go out and enjoy oursleves. We ran into tons of School Of Style graduates, who made their way to the party thanks to our amazing “insider guest list” ! Here’s Andy Storey, Luke and Kristen getting their chill on.

We had a blast on this day 2 class last week. We discovered our favorite new store , TAVIN in the spot where our old favorite store , Show Pony used to be. This is a must-see boutique for all fans of vintage, and one of a kind treasures. Think of it as if Ralph Lauren took a time machine back to 1969 , and landed in Morocco. Or something like that…

Temperley London is definitely a School of Style favorite. This fairly new designer, Alice Temperley launched her label during London Fashion Week in 2000. Now, nine years later her fashions are a must-have to many top celebrities, frequently pop up in editorial, and have even been spotted on the hit show Gossip Girl.

The School of Style always tries to stop by her Los Angeles boutique during day 2 classes. In fact, one of our own fell in love with an incredible Temperley London wedding gown during a day 2 class.

The summer is (un)officially over and fall is almost officially here. Don’t know about you guys, but we can’t wait for fall. It’s the perfect excuse to bust out all of our cool leather jackets. Leather jackets are a total must-have this fall because they are “in”, but really we think they are always “in.” It’s the perfect piece to add instant edge to your outfit and they are just plain cool. Here are some of our favorites:

Everyone is buzzing about the new show Glee, on FOX. We watched the preview episode back in May and loved it! Luke Storey (you know, stylist and mastermind behind The School of Style) styled one of the stars from Glee, Jayma Mays, for ELIZA magazine.

You might recognize Jayma from Ugly Betty (Henry’s not-so-nice preggers girlfriend) — she is a fantastic actress and is definitely a star to watch.  The shoot took place at the Museum of Flying in Santa Monica, which was fitting considering this was ELIZA’s travel issue. Luke took off (get it, haha) with the whole aviation theme and we think it turned out beautiful.
