These photos were taken from a fashion story based on Chinese foot binding. It was equally weird and interesting.

We had another super fun DAY TWO class on Thursday with Delaney, Erika, and Samantha.
We stopped by the Alexander McQueen store and were lucky enough to have the lovely Amy model the absolute sickest boots of all time for us. You can own them for the low low price of $ 2600.00. You might as well throw in the fur jacket for another $26,000.00 while you’re at it.

A few weeks ago we styled a shoot (actually two) with photographer Donna Trope at Smashbox studios. Both were for the London Observer me baby bottle nipples and eyelash glue before the shoot. The goal was to glue the nipple onto the model to give the baby something to latch onto — haha. We didn’t end up going that route but we did enjoy the looks the clerk at Rite Aid gave (its kind of an odd purchase). The next shoot was with author Alan Weider, who wrote The Year of the Cock. The wardrobe on that one was pretty easy … just a silk sheet.

Working at the Wango Tango concert a few years back. Will Smith’s kids came out for a little cameo. Cute.

Here we were shooting The Backstreet Boys with the amazing stylist Brandy St. John. Love the fake teenie-bopper bedroom set!

This was a fun shoot back in the day with the now defunct band The Lashes …

We shot in the old Fancy Foods where house in East LA. Here is a room with a view!

The Strokes vs. The Ramones?

Amazingly, no band members made the climb to the top of the tower at any point during the shoot

There are few careers out there that are more awesome than celebrity styling. It’s a lifestyle of everything we love at ThisNext. And, we’ve got an inkling that some of you might aspire towards it too. So, we’ve partnered up with School of Style and decided to give away an Official Stylist Kit . We really want to see who’s got the chops to be a stylist though. So, enter by styling up an outfit or two (using the list tool) and by tagging all the items “TN School of Style.” Then, we’re going to have celebrity stylist, Luke Storey browse through all the looks and choose a winner.
Prize pack includes: Prop bag, gaffers tape, safety pins, black safety pins, handi-wipes, Sharpies, scissors, top stick, lint roller, tagger gun, seam ripper, sewing kit, hang tags, clips, and masking tape.
