Site Worth Seeing: Luxirare

Luxirare is one of our favorite sites for fashion eye candy and style inspiration. Well, they are actually a weekly webzine dedicated to “killer clothes and fine cuisine” … and what’s not to love about that?!
The images on Luxirare are absolutely amazing. We consider this site to be an awesome tool for stylists to get inspiration. Be sure to check out their post on maxi skirts, called “To the Floor”. Seriously, long straight skirts have never looked so good.

Basically it’s amazing. Before you were SOL if you lived outside of LA or NYC, but now you can shop Resurrection online. Check it out and check out this post on Racked LA for a special discount. Happy shopping.
Site Worth Seeing: Style Section LA

We’ve got a major crush on a new online newspaper called Style Section L.A. It’s quite brilliant actually. Style Section LA is a super-fun read about two things that we love very much … Los Angeles and style. We could sit here and tell you all about it, but Style Section LA actually does a better job describing themselves than we ever could.
Style Section L.A. was founded by L.A.-based style journalists Emili Vesilind, formerly a Fashion Staff Writer at the Los Angeles Times and the West Coast Retail Editor of Women’s Wear Daily; Andrew Harmon, a former West Coast Editor for men’s fashion bible, DNR, and current Senior News Editor for The Advocate; and Erin Weinger, a former Fashion Staff Writer for the Los Angeles Times.
Covering fashion, nightlife and culture, Style Section L.A. showcases the talents and trends that shape style in Los Angeles. Marrying evocative storytelling and jaw-dropping photography with modern day speed and spunk, the site puts users on the inside track of local and national style, cluing them in to the city’s distinctive cultural landscape—from that ultra-happening bar in K-Town and the secret shopping spots of local style arbiters to the profound social implications of side ponytails.
Seriously, you’ve gotta check them out. Sign up for their newsletter and follow them on Twitter – their tweets are mad informative and very entertaining. Enjoy!
Site Worth Seeing: Rent the Runway
![]()

We came across a new website this morning and just had to share it with all of you. It’s actually pretty brilliant — it’s all about renting clothes (like renting a movie at Blockbuster). The site’s called Rent the Runway. It’s awesome if you have a special occasion and can’t get down with paying full retail for that killer dress. Chances are you are only going to wear it once anyway — so you may as well pay for one wear.
Through Rent The Runway you’ll be able to rent dresses from designers like Herve Leger, Proenza Schouler, Yigal Azroul and Catherine Malandrino for short time periods (4 days or 8 days), at a fraction of the retail price. All you do is log on to the website, pick a dress you like, and they’ll ship it to you on the date of your choosing, in two sizes to ensure the perfect fit (so awesome). To return the dress, just drop it in the mailbox back with the handy pre-paid packaging they provide.
Pretty awesome, right?

And the winner is …
Thanks to everyone who entered our awesome contest with ThisNext. As with most contests, there could only be on winner and the winner is …
Jewell Pauda for her celebrity inspired look! We love the boyfriend watch and the houndstooth top.

If I was a celeb, this is definitely what I would wear during the day! Basically its everything that I want now… obviously lacking the budget! See more of my TN School of Style Outfit#4 list at ThisNext.
Congrats to you Jewell and enjoy your official stylists kit!!
