We had a really fun Class 2 last week. There were only two students as opposed to three this time, which meant Lauren got to come along for the fun. We hit three LA showrooms, a great store called Epic Independent Co-op, Western Costume, Bloomingdale’s Studio Services, and a bunch more fun places!

Class 2 at School Of Style … its always an adventure! This time we hit all of our favorite showrooms, hip boutiques (including one of our faves, Opening Ceremony), and we even discovered a really great lunch spot called Mooi. Mooi is an organic/vegan/raw restaurant that is as adorable as it is delicious. If you are in LA area, you should make a point to stop by and check it out.

Who needs chips and salsa on Cinco de Mayo when you have styling and shopping? We took a couple of students out for a day of shopping like a stylist last week for Class 2. We hit one of our favorite stores too, Confederacy. And by the way … how perfect are those shoes by Alexander Wang?

Quite possibly the ugliest underwear of ever made. These make this very clear statement to any potential mate: “Do not sleep with me.  You will regret it within 3 minutes or less.”

Yesterday we had another fantastic Class 2 with Nisi, Jenny, and Robin. We hit our usual haunts including the BMPW showroom in Downtown LA and a costume house (not our personal favorite but some students absolutely love it!).

We were on a roll last week and banged out two Class 2’s in two days! During this class we traveled all around LA with students Jessie, Raven, and Michelle. Our two most memorable stops were E.P.I.C (Echo Park Independent Co-Op) and Western Costume.

During Class 2 on Wednesday, April 7th we stopped by Echo Park Independent Co-Op, which is a brand new (and really cool) store in Echo Park. Everything in E.P.I.C is presented in a gallery-like setting, which makes for a delightful shopping experience :) All of the items are locally designed, and in most cases locally produced … we love that!!!
