Label We Love: Mila

Last week while stopping at Dietch PR in downtown LA for our Class 2 we noticed a new addition to the Dietch family. It was a line called Mila and it was pretty much love at first sight.

You may remember Mila from Season 7 of Project Runway. She was in the final 3 and showed her collection during New York Fashion Week. The collection is bold, edgy, and mostly black and white (you know we love that). Some of our favorite pieces include her black open-weave sweater, graphic dresses, and the best of all … her revolver gloves!!!!

The revolver glove may be the greatest fashion invention of all time. They aren’t completely fingerless gloves and they aren’t your typical glove either. These gloves are so fresh and unique. They even leave space for you to rock your favorite rings with them as well (see above picture for the glove magic).

Label We Love: Funktional

One of the labels that we find ourselves frequently pulling for editorial shoots is Funktional. Funktional clothing has stylish and affordable pieces that are really fashion forward too. The best part about Funktional is that the clothing looks really expensive on camera (and in person too). Take this $85 cage dress for example:

Does this look like an $85 dress to you?

This is from a shoot with did a few months back

Clearly Rihanna doesn’t think so because she has one too …

As stylists we get to pull Funktional straight from the source, at Dietch PR in downtown LA. However, for all of you don’t have that luxury and would like to purchase Funktional clothing … You can either check in on their website or purchase from Style Q.com or Nasty Gal.com
