On Saturday the SOS team headed over to Smashbox Studios in Culver City for a photo shoot with the band Alkaline Trio. We brought along SOS student, Carolyn for her Day 3 class so she could experience what it’s like to be on set as a wardrobe stylist.
The shoot was super chill — short, sweet, and with a band that was really easy to work with.

This past Friday we spent the majority of our Friday over at the Chic Little Devil style house. We were working on a shoot with photographer Dove Shore. The premise of the shoot was volume. We worked with pieces that had some major shape to them and the results were freaking fantastic. We snapped a few behind the scenes photos to give you an idea of what were working with. Can’t wait to see the final photos, they’re going to be great.

here are some shots from 2009’s coachella’s backstage photo shoot madness. we had about 15 minutes with each band, so it was sort of like a 3 day music video shoot- hot, hurry,hurry, hot. so much fun ! got to catch epic sets by the bass player from the beatles (some guy named paul?), jenny lewis, the black keys, m.i.a, and tons of other great artists. there was much more work than play, but after all, that’s what i was hired to do!
