Class 1 a two day, in-class workshop. This is a class focused on the actual business of styling. How the business works, how to get started in the business, and more importantly- how to stay in the business. Class 1 students will be provided with a comprehensive workbook and many valuable tools of the trade to help you get started in your career as a wardrobe stylist.	Class 2 is a one day, in-class workshop. This class is specifically focused on the art and technique of styling, and building a fundamental knowledge of fashion. Class 2 students will be provided with a comprehensive workbook, including the subjects outlined below, as well as hands-on training and the instruction necessary to succesfully dress models, celebrities and personal shopping clitentel.

Class 3 is a two-day portfolio shoot, where students learn how to style their own fashion/editorial shoot. School Of Style will provide all necessary components to produce the photo shoot: studio, photographers, models, hair/makeup artists, prop kit, and clothing.	During Tour Of Style students will be taken on a comprehensive tour of the premiere Los Angeles costume houses, PR firms, designer showrooms, boutiques, department store studio services offices, and other popular LA stylists’ destinations – in a chauffeured luxury tour van.


THE LOCATIONS School Of Style’s LA Classes are held at world famous Smashbox Studios. With locations in Culver City and West Hollywood, both legendary spaces tout incredible studios and highly creative environments. Smashbox has made a name for itself as the premier photo and film studio in LA and regularly hosts photo shoots, film shoots, and events for magazines, photographers, and celebrities.

Coming in from out town? We can help! *Do I need to rent a car?* Yes! Los Angeles isn’t known for its reliable public transportation. We recommend renting a car with GPS when coming to Los Angeles for School Of Style classes. *Which neighborhood should I stay in?* The best places to stay when coming to LA for School Of Style classes are West Hollywood, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills. You can’t lose with any of those locations. They are all central to both Smashbox Studios locations, and are home to hot shopping destinations, restaurants, and world-famous attractions. *Do you have hotel recommendations?* The Standard Hotel in Hollywood is a favorite amongst our students. The Standard is on the super-hip Sunset strip in Hollywood, has a pool, live music, a 24-hour restaurant, and valet parking. Another popular hotel amongst our students is the Farmer’s Daughter. This boutique hotel is directly across from LA’s historic farmers market and celebrity shopping hotspot The Grove. The hotel has a delicious restaurant, a swimming pool, and a car service.
